The ptosis after injection of thin face is usually considered to be temporary, which usually occurs when injection of interbrow wrinkles.
Common methods to relieve ptosis include:
If the patient's ptosis is mild, it can pacify the patient, let the patient go home for hot compress, and self relieve in about 1-3 weeks.
Stimulating the upper eyelid adductor muscle of sympathetic nerve helps to open the eyelid, thus improving the temporary blepharoptosis. Take the medicine every 3 hours.

However, in clinical work, we will encounter patients with persistent blepharoptosis, who usually feel anxious. The question often asked by these patients is: How long does it take for my ptosis to disappear?
Today we will review several patients with deep ptosis whose symptoms have lasted for 6 weeks or more. There are even 13 months of no remission cases.

result:
The patients in this series continued to have visual ptosis for 6 weeks to 13 months after cosmetic injection. Of the 7 patients, 6 were treated with Aplacidine Eye Drops. Acyclodine eye drops subsided 4 times after ptosis, and the clinical treatment occurred within 6 weeks.
Basic information of the patient
Among the 7 patients, 6 were female and 1 was male, aged from 38 to 60 years, with an average age of 50 years. No abnormal treatment was found in the medical records of the micro injection face slimming brand used. The patient data is summarized in the following table:

Performance of each patient
Case 1
49 year old female, left eyelid ptosis after 3 days of face thinning injection. She did not respond to the Apiclornide Eye Drops.
During the six week follow-up, it was found that her left MDR1 was 2.0 mm and remained unchanged for 13 months. At that time, she was arranged to have surgery for ptosis of the left upper eyelid.
However, six weeks after the operation, her left MRD1 recovered to 3.5 mm, and her lifting function was 14 mm. The operation was cancelled.
Case 2
A 57 year old nurse injected a thin face.
In the next two weeks, the patient gradually felt the ptosis of the left upper eyelid, and the use of Apeclonide eye drops improved slightly. After two months, the position of the left eye gradually improved.
Case 3
A 46 year old woman used 40 units of injection to thin her face to treat forehead wrinkles and improve eyebrow shape. A week later, the left upper eyelid droops.
After 5 months of treatment, the left eyelid basically recovered.
Case 4
A 49 year old female injected with thin face for 3 days, her right eye drooped and she felt numb, but denied diplopia. After six days of treatment, she received treatment. The MRD1 right eye is 22.0 mm, the left eye is 4.0 mm, and the bilateral lifting function is 14 mm (see the figure below).
The patient used alpclonidine and pentobarbital solution, but only improved for 45 minutes. She also ordered acetylcholine tablets from an online merchant. After 8 weeks of follow-up, she reported by telephone that the right upper eyelid ptosis had been resolved, and she no longer used piperidine drops or acetylcholine tablets.
Case 5
Three days after the 60 year old female received the injection, her right upper eyelid drooped. She appeared on the same day without diplopia. The MRD1 of her right eye was 23.0 mm, and the MRD1 of her left eye was 3.5 mm.
The doctor prescribed apechloridine eye solution, but not for the patient. Three months after the injection, she called to report that ptosis had been completely eliminated.
Case 6
A 38 year old woman injected 25 units into her forehead and under her eyebrows. The patient reported that during the eyebrow injection, she felt "jet" and her right eye began to droop two days later.
The doctor prescribed aplornidine pentobarbital to her, but not to the patient. Six days after treatment, the patient's MRD1 was 22.0 mm in the right eye and 4.0 mm in the left eye (see Figure A below).
About 4 months later, the patient's symptoms began to improve (see the following figure) B.
After 9 months, the patient basically recovered (see the following figure) C. However, subjectively, she felt that there was slight residual ptosis at night, which was very annoying.

Case 7
A 54 year old female (see Figure A below for the preoperative photo) had convulsions and intermittent blepharospasm about 4 to 5 days later. At the same time, the patient feels very heavy eyes and forehead, and is irritable. MDR1 is 1 mm, and bilateral left rotation function is 13 mm (see Figure B below).
The doctor suggested the use of artificial tears and provided a prescription of Apiraclone eye solution. However, she found no treatment.
One month later, the patient still had ptosis, and about 2 months later, the eyelid position began to recover.
After 3 months of treatment, she was re evaluated and stopped using Apiclodine for 10 days. It was found that her ptosis had been resolved (see the following figure) C.
Tips for avoiding ptosis
The injection point shall not be lower than the bone orbital margin, and shall not be more than 1cm above the eyebrow arch, so as to prevent the thin face from spreading to the levator palpebrae superioris, leading to ptosis;

The needle tip is facing away from the orbit to reduce the risk of side effects (see the following needle insertion technique);

summary
I hope that all doctors and colleagues can be aware of the time range of ptosis after injection of thin face treatment (basically 4 to 6 weeks, more than 6 weeks in length), so that patients with such complications can obtain accurate information about the time course of their possible recovery.
Data definition and method for measuring upper and lower eyelid height
The definition of the upper and lower eyelid crack height data described in this paper is: let the patient cover his eyes with his measuring cup, easily and weakly look straight ahead, lift the skin between the eyebrows and eyes, expose the root of the eyelashes, measure the distance between the vertical line of the pupil center and the edge of the upper and lower eyelids with a soft ruler, that is, the height of the eyelids crack of the powerless eyelids; Similarly, the measured data is the height of eyelid crack. Measure and record the data of sitting and lying positions of eyes, and the data is accurate to 0.5mm.
