Definition of IVF
Test tube baby, also known as artificial assisted reproduction (ART), refers to a kind of fertility method that combines sperm and eggs in the laboratory to cultivate embryos and implant them into the mother's uterus to develop into normal babies through in vitro fertilization technology. IVF technology has been widely used in infertility treatment, genetic disease screening and other reproductive auxiliary purposes.

The process of IVF usually includes the following steps:
Egg collection and fertilization
First, doctors use ultrasound technology to observe the development of follicles in the ovary. At an appropriate time, the ovarian follicle is punctured through puncture technology to collect mature eggs. Then, the collected eggs will be fertilized with sperm in the laboratory.

Embryo implantation
